CRISE Policy Work

The overall aim of the CRISE project is to identify policies that will promote ethnic peace and help prevent the emergence of politically, socially and economically destructive conflicts.

The initial phase of CRISE's policy work was a series of Policy Context Papers, which assessed the broad policy arena in each of our case study countries in order to identify the most efficacious routes for policy implementation.

The second phase has seen CRISE and CRISE members of staff engaged in policy work with a range of agencies and donors. Links to some of these reports are below. In addition, many of the papers in the Working Paper series have a policy focus, and these papers are listed below. These are also available on the publications page, which lists all CRISE Working Papers.

CRISE has also produced a number of shorter briefing papers. These include a series of Policy Briefings which provide a concise review of the implications of CRISE findings for a range of policy issues. In addition, research summaries on different themes are available in short (In Brief) and longer (Overview) versions below.
